home traveller was part of designer Anne Laurenz graduation project at university of arts and design Karlsruhe, Germany in 2010.

“I was interested in the relation between the user, furniture and clothes and experimented with typical forms and functions. ” says the designer.

Home Traveller is the combination of a chest and a handbag. The mobile storage unit can be carried from one place to another.

It behaves more like an accessory that can be arranged in the living space. Also, it has a very playful, but still intuitive approach to storing items.

Anne Laurenz has been selected for the buymedesign.com “spot design award”. Next April, buymedesign.com will publish an exhaustive results report with the top winners and in collaboration with TL magazine. Already now, you can buy online some of the selected designs.
