Twisty Spiral Cup

IMG 424

Clever designs make us, the buyMeDesign team, happy and so do cups of coffee and other tasty drinks! So it's safe to say that we were pretty excited to spot the 'Twisty Spiral Cup' by Hong Kong brand MeRedd. The contemporary, patented design can be expanded with just one twist - perfect for those days where a small cup of joe just won't do! On top of that, the cup is stackable, easy to clean and able to withstand temperatures up to 90 degrees Celsius.

Torus

OMMO is a Swedish brand of beautifully minimalist kitchen utensils and (home) accessories. Pictured is 'Torus', a donut-shaped tea infuser dreamed up by Italian designer Andrea Ponti. What's unique about this infuser is it's ability to twist in various ways, allowing it to clip on any cup or to hang on the rim of a taller tumbler. Simply fill Torus with a teaspoon of your favourite loose tea, hang it on a cup and let your tea brew for a few minutes.

Shymon

IMG 202

Uneed (a combination of 'Unique' and 'Need') is a newly established Hong Kong-based brand. As their name implies, the brand dreams up designs that are both highly practical and eye-catching. Take, for instance, 'Shymon', a shy man whose cheeks flush as soon as he is exposed to temperatures 50 degrees Celsius. Shymon functions as a glove to pick up hot food in your kitchen, and as a plate coaster on your dining table. .
